I am a fourth-year student at Otago University finishing my Bachelor of Surveying this year. I am expecting to graduate at the end of this year when I have passed all of the papers required. While completing my Bachelor of Surveying I have learned fundamental survey skills and have chosen to specialise in engineering and cadastral papers in my third and fourth years of study. I have worked with various survey companies as a part of my degree during the summer holidays while studying. This past work has shown me the processes at work to get projects completed. It has also taught me how to work in a social environment, to develop working relationships, and manage small-scale projects along with various other skills. I have had experience in topographic surveys, boundary redefinitions, and small-scale engineering design and survey work which I would like to continue to pursue.
