- Participation in the NASA-funded PSTAR project, LASSIE, as a postdoctoral fellow- Project goal: Development, testing, and deployment of a cognitively-enhanced semi-autonomous robot for surface science exploration in planetary analog environments- Scientific objective: Assessment of geotechnical properties of environmental gradients, including loose unconsolidated materials, soil crusts, surface lags, lithified sediments, and icy sediment mixtures- Comprehensive approach involving chemical analysis, Thermal Infrared (TIR) spectroscopy, thermophysical modeling, and integrated terrain sensing - Fieldwork insights directly informing thermophysical studies of dune environments within Olympia Undae on Mars and Lunar environments.

As a Ph.D. student in the Department of Geology and Environmental Science, my research is focused on the use of infrared remote sensing and laboratory spectroscopy to better understand the thermophysical properties of the Martian surface. - Participating member of the THEMIS science team- Participating member of the THEMIS Off-Nadir Working Group

As a Masters student at Wesleyan University, my thesis work investigated the mineralogy and geochemistry of hydrothermal deposits in St. Lucia as an analogue to ancient Martian hydrothermal systems. This work utilized TIR, VNIR, Raman, and EDS/WDS spectroscopy.- Other projects included the study of volatile contents in Apollo Lunar samples and Martian meteorites
