About Benjamin Mckeeby, Phd

I am a planetary scientist interested in the study of surface processes and surface evolution. I have specialized in the use of thermal infrared spectroscopy, thermophysical modeling, and remote sensing to characterize physical surface properties. Currently, I have ongoing projects related to better understand Martian alluvial fans, polar dune deposits, and volcanic landscapes. Additionally, I am a member of the THEMIS science team and THEMIS off-nadir working group. As a postdoctoral researcher at NAU I am working on characterizing Arizona mine tailing deposits using orbital and UAV thermal infrared data. www.benjaminmckeeby.com
