Current• Maintain multiple induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) cultures, and scale up cell lines for large batch differentiations• Involved with the initial development of the processes for differentiating iPSCs into various cell types: Endothelial cells, Neurons, and Cardiomyocytes• Use various cellular assays to characterize cell types including Flow cytometry, Immunocytochemistry, and qPCR• Identify areas of improvement in established processes, and perform necessary… Show more • Maintain multiple induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) cultures, and scale up cell lines for large batch differentiations• Involved with the initial development of the processes for differentiating iPSCs into various cell types: Endothelial cells, Neurons, and Cardiomyocytes• Use various cellular assays to characterize cell types including Flow cytometry, Immunocytochemistry, and qPCR• Identify areas of improvement in established processes, and perform necessary experiments to implement process changes • Transfect iPSCs with various plasmids and screen iPSC clones via PCR to determine proper integration• Write technical documents to be used as standard operating procedures, manufacturing procedures, and quality control procedures • Perform technical transfer of procedures from R&D to manufacturing and quality control by training staff to perform various differentiation procedures and cellular assays• Involved in performing CAPAs to improve manufacturing and quality procedures by addressing out of specification results and other non conformities • Test and validate new lots of critical reagents to be used in manufacturing procedures Show less
