Principal Scientist
Current- Culture iPSC lines for cell banking and use in differentiation processes
- Develop processes for differentiating iPSCs into multiple cell types including endothelial cells, cardiomyocytes, skeletal myoblasts, GABAergic neurons, dopaminergic neurons, motor neurons, photoreceptor precursor.
- Develop cell purification strategies using MACS
- Execute custom differentiations for iPSC cell lines as part of disease and diversity panels and customer specific custom projects
- Scale up iPSC differentiation processes to manufacturing scale including the use of large format cell factories, bioreactors, in line filtration, CliniMACs cell sorting, and control rate freezers
- Perform technical transfer of procedures from R&D to cGMP manufacturing and quality control teams
