Benjamin trained as an actor at East 15 and went onto play leading roles in the West End, at the Royal Exchange and at many other well known theatres throughout the UK and Ireland. He co-founded The Actors’ Guild and having been a member of Actorum (the UK’s first cooperative) he created the role of Lead Agent there. It was whilst working as an agent that he spotted the gap in the market that Tagmin would later fill.Benjamin created Tagmin with Misha von Bennigsen in 2014. Since then it has become the system of choice for agencies in the UK. The system is now used globally by agents in countries as far afield as the USA, Australia and New Zealand. Within the EU it’s now used in Belgium, Bulgaria, Finland, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Spain and Sweden.In 2023 Tagmin joined Spotlight - and the wider Talent Systems family, bringing together the world’s most sophisticated industry platforms, all under one roof.
