Shadow and support the Category Buyer ensuring sales/trend opportunities are identified, production, margin and OTB exceptions are highlighted, and solutions offered. Responsible for communication of the Buyer’s message, representing the Buyer when unavailable. In addition, the purpose of this role is to gain the relevant skills, knowledge and abilities through informal “on the job” to become a Buyer.- Support the buyer in the ranging process by identifying global styling and colour trends, through sales trends of trial/fashion styles, internet, retail and catwalk sourcing , and apply to allocated categories. - Design and draw up all CADs in Illustrator for seasonal range boards.- Collection of sales data highlighting opportunities for sales, identification trends, and suggestions actions for poor performers while understanding margin impact.- Review OTB's understand the Option Plan, price tiering, budget shifts, margin expectations support the buyer with data highlighting exceptions and opportunity.- Oversee, prioritize and support the Product Developers/Production Schedule to ensure all deliveries meet target ship date, highlight exceptions and offer solutions to the Buyer.- Attend fit sessions, and offer PD support with lab dip, graphic, yardage and fit approvals.- Understand the margin strategy, support the PD’s to engineer to a price point, support Buyer to meet the margin KPI by overseeing price negotiation. - Understand and support the Buyer and Brand Production manager to add to the success of the Fabric Grouping Plan and meet the timelines.

As part of the Quality Team, I am responsible for providing and managing the Quality and Technical Support function for the Men's Woven's, Knit and Sportswear categories. Providing high level technical advice and expertise on Technical Design, Fit, Garment Construction, and Quality Standards to the Buying and Design teams.

Oversee all overseas production across 5 brands.Implement and manage timelines between buying, design and production.Costings/Price negotiation and ensuring production is cost effective.Monitoring product standards and implementing quality-control programes.Sourcing new suppliers, fabrics, trims.Fittings and creating size specs for suppliers.Placing and tracking all bulk orders.

• Overseeing all production for the in-house brands• Monitoring all shipments and deliveries• Raising and monitoring all purchase orders • Updating and maintaining production shipment schedule and workflow• Liaise with numerous factories in China and Hong Kong on a daily basis• Raising costings for FOB, CMT and FIS costings• Assisting with fits for PP/Proto samples, updating specs and sending all comments to suppliers• Sourcing new factories and suppliers• Sourcing all accessories and fabrics from China and Europe• Approving fabrics and components for colour• Checking all shipment samples and sending comments• Approving all ticket artwork and labels• Attend meetings with buyers and suppliers• Assisting Designer with all Range Development, including choice of fabrics, colours, shapes.• Putting together Design packs for new season development and sending to suppliers• Tracking all development styles for all brands• Updating various artworks using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop • Updating Design sheets at bulk stage• Assisting with seasonal photo shoots• Coordinating the selling of merchandise at various music festivals (Splendour,Homebake) for our licensed division.• Coordinating sample sales
