My professional goal: To work to provide students opportunities to learn and be empowered to not only use, manage, assess, and understand technology, but also to think logically, critically and independently in order to become part of a responsible citizenry. To that end I work as a part of the REC Foundation to support accessible programs for students to engage in. Beyond encouraging participation in STEM fields, these programs also put students in positions to make independent strategic and design decisions and take ownership of their own engagement - skills that will serve them no matter what career they pursue.
