Ben Mitchell is a professionally trained actor originally from Brooklyn, New York. After attending New England prep schools, Ben attended Whittier College in Los Angeles on a Theater scholarship and studied acting. Ben exercised his passion for entertaining audiences while performing in various roles on stage throughout college. Ben was nominated twice by the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival for his performances. In Hollywood, Ben cultivated his understanding of the film industry as an intern with feature film producer "Lynda Obst" at Paramount Pictures. After receiving his Bachelor's degree in Theater with an emphasis on "performance," Ben moved back to his home town to accept a job working on Wall Street as a crude oil energy broker and to further develop his acting craft through training in "The Meisner Technique" at The Neighborhood Playhouse School of Theater in Manhattan. While learning expertise of negotiation as an Energy Derivatives broker, Ben completed a two year intensive study with teacher Ron Stetson and swiftly became a proud company member of "LoveCreek Productions", and off-off broadway company dedicated to developing actors in NYC. Ben has been involved in short and full length plays and is was accepted to study with a master of acting "Wynn Handman" (founder of the American Place Theatre) at the Wynn Handman Studios in 2013. Ben decided to move back to Los Angeles in 2014 and has committed to building a career in all aspects of the film Industry.Currently, Ben is living in Los Angeles working with an acting manager and spends his evenings in the hospitality industry as a Bartender at "The Nice Guy La." Beginning in 2016, Ben began writing for "360 Magazine" as their automotive contributor spreading his deep love and knowledge of automobiles. Ben enjoys test driving cars for automotive reviews and writing racing stories.
