Handle several different commodities such as: various break bulk steel cargos, tin plate, bulk grains, lumber, marine craft, vehicles, shipping containers, and project cargos. Responsible for accident investigation, discipline of all employees. Responsible for cargo inventory lists and management of container yard in coordination with U.S Customs. Supervise Port Cleveland Quality Management program to minimize damage while maximizing safety and production. Hand selected to travel to ports throughout U.S. & Canada to aid in time of need, training, and to assist in quality management programs. Head Company safety programs and meetings to ensure OSHA standards are met for all operations.

-Represent and promote the Emergency Management major at Open Houses and various Academy functions.-Coordinated a month-long volunteer project with Habitat for Humanity in Eustis, FL for 70 freshmen cadets.-Be a supportive role model and classmate to all cadets in the Emergency Management major and school-wide.

-Lead all classes Freshman to Senior within 3rd Company, approximately 200 cadets.-In charge of overall accountability during drills, musters, and morning formation.-Controlled disciplinary operations within 3rd Company.-Gave direction to the team of Squad Leaders who directly oversaw the Freshman class.

-Responsible for the well-being and proper indoctrination of 60+ freshmen.-Tasked with orienting the incoming freshmen to the customs & traditions of the Massachusetts Maritime Academy, and the maritime industry.-Honed leadership skills.

-Worked immediately under the director of the Barnstable County Office of Emergency Management.-Created the presentation given to the Board of Barnstable County in a successful attempt at helping the Town of Barnstable, Massachusetts become a StormReady community.-Consolidated all relevant contacts in the Emergency Management department county-wide to create a streamlined, easy to use directory in the event of any emergency.

-Promptly appointed to higher management, trusted with overseeing all employees, put in charge of all operations from open, to close & everything in between.-Trained in supply & demand trends, stock & inventory needs, and acquired excellent social skills.
