I am a construction lawyer focused on advising and counseling owners, developers, contractors, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers throughout all phases of complex construction projects and construction litigation. I assist clients with contract drafting and negotiation, risk management analysis, delay analysis, lien filing and defense, and claim enforcement in litigation and arbitration on both private and public projects. I also routinely counsel clients regarding regulatory issues, including contractor licensing requirements. During my career, I have worked on various projects ranging from large commercial and industrial facilities, mixed-use residential and commercial buildings, highways and railways, and large data centers. I also handle business and complex litigation, including defense of trade secret misappropriation, breach of contract, unfair competition, and consumer class action claims. My commercial clients include biopharmaceutical companies, consumer electronics manufacturers, technology companies, consumer products companies, and banks. I am a member of Foley & Lardner LLP's Construction and Business Litigation and Dispute Resolution Practice Groups, sit on the Firm's National Pro Bono Committee, and am the Vice Chair of the Board of Directors of the San Diego Volunteer Lawyers Program.
