He helped build non-profits like 8 Days of Hope which led 5000 volunteers to the Gulf Coast to rebuild after Hurricane Katrina, and remains on the board of the faith-based Steve Wingfield Ministry. With leadership roles as an owner, executive, or director, focused on building up leaders in the organization, Mr. Morris has guided many companies to success in many different industry sectors. In addition, Mr. Morris has overseen many acquisitions and divestiture events in his career. These include leading Red Med Urgent Care through re-structure and growth; Champion Orthopaedics through startup to rapid growth; Mitias Orthopaedics through re-structure and growth; American OrthoSource through startup and growth; Odyssey Medical Technology through acquisition and transition; Paxeon Reconstruction through startup and divestiture; Reconstruction Innovation through startup and growth; Morris Recycling through it's 20-plus-fold growth, and it's sell to Chasm Industries; the creation, growth, and sell of Recycling Logistics; the creation and growth of RECY America software; the creation, growth, and sell of Vadum Technolgies software; the full restructuring of GPD Limited distribution company; and many more. One notable interesting innovation for Mr. Morris is his role as one of three co-creators of the Recycling Industry Operating Standards (RIOS), which is now the default standard in the entire US for quality standards in the recycling of IT assets.
