He has also worked along side a professional tennis player as their main physiotherapist. This has honed his assessment skills and diagnostics in pressure situations, making his assessments clear and efficient. Ben has a personal interest in running, cycling, basketball, football, golf, weight lifting, and anything that he can turn his hand to. He has competed in boxing and mountain bike racing in the past and is sometimes even found in the yoga studio. Ben makes sure he gets to know each of his patients and understands their needs and goals; from pain relief, regaining function to getting back into sport and competing. Ben has a clinical interest in back and neck pain; along with rehabilitation of and shoulder, knee and ankle post acute injury and surgery. He has a background in clinical Pilates (STOTT Institute), which he uses in his rehab programmes. He uses hands on techniques to help relieve stress and pain and he has also trained in medical acupuncture and dry needling in New Zealand, Australia and Singapore, which he uses to accompany other modalities of treatment. Most of the time operating with time limits and having to overcome language barriers.
