For many years, I have been a Logistics Readiness Officer with the Minnesota Air National Guard. I have been deployed to Iraq and Germany, and have been very involved with Air National Guard deployments, logistics planning, emergency operations, firefighting, and community service to name a few. My full time career in Mine Equipment Operations for 8 years, construction experience, and deployments, has given me a wide spectrum of knowledge in employing systematic approaches and develop a master plan to reach an organization’s goals. I gained improvements in many areas from my experience in Iraq and Germany working with different people from different cultures and diversities. In Iraq, I managed all Army owned equipment for 1/3rd of Iraq for turn-in and re-issue. While in Germany for nearly two years, I’ve been the Manager and Logistics Planner for procurement, storage, and sustainment of $2.4B of equipment assets and storage facilities. This experience forced me to be a master of identifying the unit’s goals, and allowed me an opportunity to create successful plans and act as the primary change agent in the process. I’ve also been the Army and Air Equipment Liaison for Minnesota since early 2017. I'm interested in further education and a career in engineering, and possibly within the logistics or mining industries. Together, my experiences give me a high-level perspective to solve extremely complex issues in a fast paced business environment, and the diversity and flexibility to tackle any obstacle.
