Under general supervision of the Communication Manager, leads and directs the work of E-911 Telecommunicators in the dispatch area of a 911 Communications Center in conjunction with performing various duties required to operate the communications equipment for the efficiency and safety of the personnel of Moore County EMS, ten law enforcement agencies, seventeen fire departments, three rescue squads, other county and city agencies as needed and the general public. Responsible for the security of the communications center and the staff of Telecommunicators adhering to that security and all policies and procedures set forth by Moore County Public Safety. Responsible for quality assurance protocol for both fire and medical dispatch as set forth by National Academies of Emergency Dispatch EMD-Q and EFD-Q.
