Passionate about challenging writing and film projects. Benjamin O. is a writer and emerging film director known for pushing the boundaries of conventional storytelling through smartphone filmmaking. With expertise in screenwriting, creative fiction, and nonfiction, he has crafted compelling narratives for novels, short films, and screenplays. His recent work, The Remote Worker, which he wrote, directed, and solo-produced, was officially selected for the Lagos International Smartphone Film Festival 2024. His strong foundation in filmmaking is backed by formal training from the Lagos Film School and the EbonyLife Creative Academy, where he completed courses in Cinematography & Producing and Directing respectively. In addition to his creative work, Benjamin leverages his background in Public & International Relations to navigate production challenges and ensure team synergy.
