Hand selected to build and lead a first of its kind organization consisting of 132 highly specialized cyber security technicians in support of I Marine Expeditionary Force (I MEF), an organization of over 45,000 service members. This new organization owned the mission to conduct all defensive cyberspace operations as described below. Planned and led green-field implementation of the Marine Corps’ concept for rapidly deployable incident response and forensics teams in direct support of the Marine Corps’ single largest operational unit and area of operations. Led, trained, and mentored team members and subordinate leaders in the conduct of all facets of Defensive Cyberspace Operations (DCO) including incident response, architecture security assessment, operational technology/weapon system security assessment, threat intelligence integration, threat hunting, and threat emulation. Led DCO concept development and capability integration as the senior Cyber Defense specialist in the region.

Hand selected to build and lead a team of 39 highly specialized cyber security technicians in support of a uniquely challenging mission set. Led, trained, and mentored team members in the conduct of all facets of Defensive Cyberspace Operations (DCO) including incident response, digital forensics, threat emulation, architectural risk assessment and enhancement, threat hunting, and threat intelligence integration. Planned and led green-field implementation of an advanced, deployable incident response/management team in support of life-and-limb mission criticality. Planned and led execution of tailored DCO capabilities in clearing friendly cyberspace of detectable threats and enhancing overall defensibility of the enterprise.

Lead planning, development, requisition, assignment , assessment, and oversight of specialized, technical training programs for 300+ cyberspace operations and intelligence specialists.Lead concept development, design, implementation, and maintenance of custom curricula in support of rapidly evolving and highly specialized requirements in all cyberspace domains.
