Fitness Assistants are responsible to monitor the safety of gym guests and enforce the rules of the gym. As a fitness assistant I was required to create a friendly environment and answer any questions a guest may have, as well as cleaning and maintaining gym equipment.

Worked in a team with one other tour guide to give the most enjoyable and safe experience to groups of 4-12 guests at a time. Tours would run for 2-3 hours, consist of a debriefing, gearing up the guests, zip lining across 8 platforms, and axe throwing to finish off. Before every tour I was responsible for the inspection of all of the gear, from harnesses to helmets, in order to prevent any wear and tear on that could put the guests or a guide at risk. A large part of this job is making the guests as comfortable and confident as possible through leading them throughout the course in a similar manner.

Was required to work in a extremely fast paced environment and keep track of many moving parts simultaneously.
