Thanks to self-taught skills in Adobe products and an eye for design, I started as a Sub-Editor for the Mudgee Guardian in 2007. In my time as Sub-Editor I oversaw the design and production of tens of thousands of newspaper pages, dozens of large-scale print features and the creation and management of a robust suite of web and social initiatives for the Mudgee Guardian which continue to thrive today. In 2016 my role was made redundant and I saw an opportunity to move into a position that let me focus on my passion and skill set.Proven success in the necessary skills earned me the role of Fairfax's Group Digital Journalist/Specialist for the Western Group in NSW. A role which have excelled in. In 2018 I moved up to the role of Editor at the Mudgee Guardian.There I have grown the Mudgee Guardian brand to record amounts online traffic, social media growth, influence and recently paid subscribers. Deeply interested in technology, AI, news, social media and convergence of all four.I spend my time creating great content and empowering people to do the same.
