Operating units include Subpart X thermal treatment units (Static Detonation Chamber and inductively heated Metal Parts Treater), neutralization tanks, a supercritical water oxidation reactor, and numerous Subpart J tank Systems and Subpart I container storage units. • Eleven years of experience as a Senior Environmental Engineer with URS ensuring the Waste Isolation Pilot Plant is managed in compliance with RCRA, the Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, New Mexico Surface and Ground Water Quality Regulations, TSCA and NEPA. The Waste Isolation Pilot Plant is a government owned, contract operated mixed radioactive hazardous waste storage and disposal facility constructed using conventional underground mining techniques. • Over Ten years of experience with the Kentucky Department for Environmental Protection and Texas Commission on Environmental Quality in RCRA permitting, compliance and corrective action. Emphasis on complex chemical manufacturing plants, hazardous waste combustion facilities, mixed radioactive hazardous waste management, and RCRA/CERCLA corrective action at large industrial facilities. • Five plus years of experience with the Kentucky Division of Water conducting ecological and water quality studies evaluating the impacts of municipal and industrial discharges on aquatic ecosystems and evaluating compliance with the Clean Water Act and NPDES Permits. • Three years as an Environmental Specialist with the Texas Department of Transportation conducting NEPA clearances for highway projects.
