CurrentThe key accountabilities within this role include:- The performance of a range of analytical, diagnostic and technical investigations and tests within the laboratory in accordance with documented protocols, processes and procedures to deliver accurate and precise results.- Participation in a range of laboratory activities including accuracy in activities such as: receiving, unpacking, sorting, storage, transport and disposal of specimens; data entry tasks; preparation, monitoring and storage of reagents and assisting with stock control and ordering.- Understanding, monitoring, managing and interpreting QC results and problems.- Application of technical judgement in the analysis of patient specimens leading to the verification and validation of test results and the provision of technical education and advice within the team. - Maintaining and troubleshooting laboratory equipment to ensure efficient and accurate operation.- Liaising with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders in order to provide a proactive customer service that is supportive of NSWHP operations.
