Supply Chain Coordinator
• Negotiating contracts with new and existing suppliers regarding trade discounts and credit terms.• Reviewing sales and setting new sales goals with suppliers.• Resolving any issues with suppliers regarding faulty products/ materials.• Researching suppliers for new products that are balanced in cost effectiveness and quality. • Assisting designers with any product or supplier requests.• Providing cover for the Production Coordinator and able to cover other roles when requested.• Updating and maintaining our internal system (adding and editing suppliers and products).• Creating and maintaining spreadsheets via Microsoft Excel.• Assisting the technical department with product and price management on the company’s smart system. I Also created training manuals for technical tasks for future employees to follow. • Assisting the accounts department with general accounting tasks (creating spreadsheets, reports, filling etc.). • Whilst assisting the accounts department I was the first point of contact for all calls to JLH.
