My passions in my personal life have always been centered around nature, so preserving the Earth for future generations is something that is very important and meaningful to me. This led me to major in Biology with a minor in Legal Studies with hopes of going to law school. As an undergrad, my research was focused on invasive plant species in North Central West Virginia as well as North American songbird vocalization. Additionally, I worked for two summers (2019 and 2020) in Wildlife Management with the West Virginia Division of Natural Resources. Even though I was planning to go to law school during this time, I wanted to gain first hand knowledge of the ways our environment is impacted by anthropogenic factors and how we are able to mediate them and preserve our public lands. In law school I hope to specialize in Environmental/Natural Resource Law so that I can actively be a part of keeping the Earth sustainable and intact for the future.
