This position involved packing, sealing, and product checking of 10 Kg blocks of Mozzarella cheese as they were produced. In order to complete this job to the required speed, as well as insuring health and safety, we worked as a team making sure that all stations were always manned. It was also very important that the utmost attention was paid to all tasks during our shift. This meant that we decided as a team to swap which station we were working at every twenty minutes. The shifts that were worked in the mozzarella room were four days on, four days off; this involved working two twelve hour day shifts, followed by two twelve hour night shifts, before taking a four day break.
