In addition to my responsibilities for Primordial, I worked on the following while at Polaris.A vehicle to vehicle (v2v) communications prototype for off road vehicles.I was paired with a systems engineer to design hardware and software that would allow simple v2v communications with the intent of providing riders enough lead time to avoid collisions at dangerous scenarios such as blind intersections in the forest, or hill cresting in the dunes. The prototypes and tests were a success and a patent was filed in August 2016.Technical Adviser on product/business developmentWorked with product managers to determine hardware and software requirements for products related to off-road vehicles. Additionally, I provided rough order estimates of the labor required for implementation of software.

Project lead for two Dept. of Defense funded projects. Responsible for architecture, design and implementation of the projects in addition to writing monthly and final reports. http://primordial.com/index.php/projects/tentacle- A project for the Air Force involved tracking and collecting metadata on people and vehicles using static camera feeds. The entities would be projected onto a map and the end user could query the system to retrieve camera feeds matching an entity description. Based on the success of the first phase of the contract, Primordial was awarded an additional $1 million in follow on funding.http://primordial.com/index.php/projects/overlord- The second project was for the Marine Corps and involved tracking trainees as they executed building clearing exercises. Using ultra wide band trackers and computer based rule sets, we were able to successfully flag trainees if they violated rules. Rule violations were time stamped and if present, the trainers would be able to retrieve video to show the violation.http://primordial.com/index.php/products/ground-guidanceAssisted in transitioning our flagship product, Ground Guidance, from a stand alone desktop application to an SDK to be consumed by 3rd party vendors.
