With over eight years of experience in data management and analysis, I am passionate about using data to inform and improve decision-making for regional development and sustainability. As a Regional Data Management Officer at the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development (DPIRD), I lead and coordinate data collection, analysis, and reporting across various regional projects and initiatives. I also chair the Regional Data Group, a cross-functional team that aims to enhance data quality, governance, and accessibility within the Regional Development Commissions and Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development. I value collaboration, innovation, and diversity, and I strive to contribute to DPIRD's mission of creating enduring prosperity for all Western Australians.In my current role, I have successfully delivered the Regional Data Management Project, a comprehensive data strategy and framework that guides the collection, analysis, and reporting of regional data. This project involved conducting a data audit, developing data standards and protocols, designing data dashboards and visualizations, and providing data training and support to regional staff and stakeholders. Through this project, I have demonstrated my analytical skills, report writing skills, and data analysis skills using various tools and platforms, such as Lucid Chart, Dbdiagram.io, Excel, SQL, and Power BI. I have also received positive feedback from senior management and external partners for my effective communication, project management, and problem-solving skills.
