Within a Remote/Independent working environment, identify, source, and codify map data resources for use in global products. Develop and Apply various feasibility and integration methodologies for nationwide field use. Facilitate work groups to design and implement best practices. Prototyping and UI design with in PC's, tablet PC's, Toughbooks, Navigation units, GPS units, stereo-digital camera operations, training interns, and project management experience. Facilitated fleet vehicle & computer hardware procurement. Responsible for prototyping and pre-production equipment, including technical specifications, contract negotiations, logistics, and field deployments. I love maps & traveling, so it was mostly great fun. In 2007, received a transfer to Seattle, WA as a project lead for the Mapping Vans, switching to contract status. As a result of the late-2007 global financial meltdown and corporate restructuring, my position (and about 80 others) was not up for renewal in 2008. I had a blast being on the cutting edge of digital mapping technology.
