Ben is a first-year fellow in Pulmonary & Critical Care medicine at DMC. He completed IM residency training at Swedish Hospital in Chicago, prior to spending a year as a Full-Time Hospitalist at Select Specialty Hospital in Madison, WI. A persistent seeker of knowledge, he began his career studying Biology and Spanish at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He then completed a Masters of Science in Biology at Seton Hall University, with a Graduate Teaching Assistantship, followed by earning a Masters of Medical Science degree from the Morsani College of Medicine at the University of South Florida. He then earned his medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Bradenton, FL, in 2018. Ben is a highly coachable and exceptionally motivated team player with a passion for taking care of patients in their most critical time of need. His strength lies in his ability to lead with compassion and care, whether that is through supporting his patients and their families or mentoring others. His greatest reward has been his mentorship and educational experiences, specifically his time as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and a senior resident, and he looks forward to continuing his work with students, residents and fellows throughout his career.
