Lead multiple Agile teams (~50 members) responsible for designing, building and testing the client applications for the Usher Identity Platform*. As a lead of the MicroStrategy Mobile team my responsibilities were:- Led and managed a team of Program Managers and UX designers, providing technical and product design guidance.- Managed the product roadmap by synthesizing input from customer requests, marketing analysis, executive direction and technology trends.- Defined priorities for the team according to roadmap, corporate strategy and organizational changes.- Collaborated directly with engineering teams during the inception, design and implementation phases, always staying current and leveraging the latest advances in mobile technologies.- Conducted program reviews with CXOs. Collected executive insight and feedback to align roadmap and team priorities.- Represented the MicroStrategy Mobile Technology team in external facing interactions with partners, customers and prospects as well as with other groups i.e. Marketing, Sales, Education, Legal, and Tech Support. - Present technology updates and futures keynotes at the annual users conference. - Led research of emerging mobile technologies including operating systems, peer-to-peer communications, motion tracking and indoor positioning systems amongst the most notable.

As a lead of a group of program managers and designers, collaborated in the definition of functionality and User Experience design for the MicroStrategy Mobile Platform.- Contributed to the evolution of the MicroStrategy Mobile product from a basic mobile application framework for iPhone to a functionality-rich, scalable and user-friendly platform optimized for iPad, iPhone and Android devices. - Collaborated closely with engineering in the definition and design of the MicroStrategy Mobile architecture based on the foundation of the MicroStrategy object model but optimized and engineered to overcome the memory and processing power limitations of mobile devices.- Worked together with UX designers and HCI researchers in defining new user interaction paradigms optimized for mobile devices. These new paradigms leveraged the touch capabilities of modern devices which enabled direct manipulation of information on the screen resulting in fluid and intuitive user experiences. - Stayed abreast of the latest advances in mobile technologies and incorporating them into our product to augment functionality or to enhance the performance of the platform. - Collaborated with other groups within MicroStrategy such as Marketing, Sales, Education and Tech Support to develop the corresponding programs to sell and support the product in the field.

Research and application of emerging technologies during the inception phases of new features: - Researched multiple technologies used across various products of the MicroStrategy BI platform such as Extended Data Access (XDA), Data Import and Data Wrangling, Search Engine and Data Visualizations.- Defined functional specifications based on internal requirements, customer feedback and marketing analysis. - Designed user workflows and user interfaces for new features. Introduced formal user-centered design process.- Led the design and implementation of MicroStrategy Visual Insight, a self-service visual data exploration tool that changed the way users created reports and dashboards. The new workflows reduced the time required to create analyses from hours to minutes and also enabled users to create reports and analyses without involvement of system administrators or architects.

Responsible for testing and software verification during the Beta cycle for the full MicroStrategy BI Platform.- Planned and executed tests to validate all features on specific customer environments and use cases- Participated in the final rounds of functional testing to evaluate end-to-end functionality, ensuring that all facets of the product (installation, configuration, documentation, etc.) complied with functional specifications and release criteria.- Performed customer site visits to conduct software tests, troubleshoot specific environment issues and demonstrate new features to all stakeholders.- Developed pre-release materials for education, marketing and field teams ahead of the official product launch. - Acted as Technology POC supporting Education, Marketing and Sales teams for product launch activities.- Created content and presented technical sessions for MicroStrategy's annual users conference.
