The Director of Student Affairs and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) assists in shaping the campus community’s understanding of, and appreciation for, diversity and works to enhance the campus climate for and commitment to diversity. Emphasis is on outreach, advocacy, campus life, Title IX, student conduct, student accommodations, student organizations, first year experience programming, overall event planning, as well as diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts for students and employees.

The Assistant Director of Admissions and Outreach is responsible for admissions applicationprocessing, interviewing, and general academic counseling to a diverse population of applicantsseeking admission to Bellin College. This individual will recruit prospective students in a varietyof venues, advising and directing applicants in the completion of the admissions process.●Review application files of freshman and transfer students. Prepare and provide transcript evaluations●Assist in data collection and analysis of retention goals as well in the creation of programs from data collated●Maintain responsibility for the review of transfer applications and the transfer credit evaluation process, including but not limited to evaluation of all undergraduate transcripts●Develop and foster working relationships with community partners to promote the overall college mission, programs offered, and serve as an ambassador●Develop strategic undergraduate and postgraduate recruitment strategies and corresponding marketing plans; manage undergraduate admissions●Meet individually with prospective students, families and guests on campus to counsel applicants on admission requirements, financial aid, scholarships, and admission procedures. Maintain contact with prospective students via phone, letters, and student information system (CAMS)●Coordinate and conduct on-campus recruitment activities including summer camps, campus visits, information sessions, Hands-on-Healthcare (both mobile and on-campus)●Utilize a broad-base of institutional knowledge in order to effectively market and recruit a successful, motivated, and diverse pool of first-time-freshman and transfer students●Work collaboratively and effectively with internal and external constituents including deans, faculty, administrators, staff, external groups, and individuals

The Admissions Counselor is responsible for recruitment of prospective students for allprograms offered at Bellin College. This person will meet with prospective students and theirfamilies in a variety of venues, promoting opportunities, advising them of admission processes,and targeting qualified students for academic programs. Must have flexibility to work eveningand weekend hours as needed. Travel will be required, including evenings, overnights, and/orweekends. ●Scheduled and attended recruitment events such as high school visits, Hands-on-Healthcare, and other events that promote Bellin College●Coordinated communications to students regarding advising meetings, registration periods, etc.●Worked with student success, financial aid, among others to assist in retention goals●Met with and provided information to students, counselors, teachers, parents, and the community in assigned recruitment territory, and encouraged students to visit Bellin College ●Collected and analyzed current and future employment of bachelors students●Coordinated and conducted on-campus recruitment activities including summer camps, campus visits, information sessions, and WAICU Private College Week ●Maintained systematic and frequent contact with assigned prospects●Utilized technology, such as the student information system, to input prospective students’ information with planned follow-up messaging●Provided high-quality customer service to prospective students through a variety of methods (e-mail, phone, text, mail, and in-person) and continued to build individual relationships●Assessed effectiveness of recruitment activities and the development and implementation of recruitment marketing plans by routinely collecting and reporting recruitment data ●Planned and managed a travel schedule in which registration and travel expenditures are tracked
