Agile environment focused on Linux DevOps automation and provisioning infrastructure from code. Chef, Terraform, Git, Rundeck, Bamboo, and AWS cloud infra are all in the daily grind. Ran sprints on the Atlassian stack for PM. Assisted in improvement of CI/CD in Gitlab and Bamboo.

During my time at ESU 10 as a SysAdmin, I worked in Linux and Windows IT operations. I deployed hyperconverged infrastructure in both KVM Linux/Ceph and Microsoft AzureStack HCI to create a redundant environment for private cloud based information services. I also helped define company computer use policy, assist in Cyber Security needs, developed business continuity/backup strategy for all Information Services, and managed all Azure cloud services. I also leveraged Docker containers along with git version control, terraform and Ansible to further automation and CI/CD.My most notable project was working alongside ESU 10's Network Engineer and the ESU 10 Operations team to create a redundant private cloud infrastructure which K12 district schools could utilize as a RADIUS endpoint for a centrally connected RADIUS proxy in Nebraska known as Eduroam. This software-defined private cloud also provided additional services for schools such as redundant LDAP services, DNS, application, and file services. This service eliminated the need for schools to utilize public cloud services or the need of having a server located physically at the district. The infrastructure in the private cloud are mixed between Linux KVM and Azure Stack HCI. Within this infrastructure we also introduced Ansible into the K12 space for sysops automation. AWX replaced heavy Microsoft legacy services such as SCCM.I also was responsible for legacy Windows domain services such as classic GPO, active directory management, etc. I pivoted ESU 10s local domain from legacy Windows workstation and domain controllers relationship environment to the Azure platform "Intune/MEM". This allowed workstations to authenticate natively at Azure and not be bound to any on-site servers. Management also became quite seamless via configuration profiles and applications management through the Intune platform. This allowed a form of CI/CD to Workstation deployment for applications and configuration.

The systems were primarily Microsoft Windows Server environment based and Cisco based networking equipment. I also worked with Microsoft terminal services, and various security systems and practices.
