At Cambridge English Academy I have been responsible for organising and managing large corporate training (English Language courses) as well as ESP (English for Specific Purposes) for international companies such as Barrick (largest gold mining company in the world),General Authority for Civil Aviation (government), Al Nahdi Pharmacy, PSI (Pharmaceutical Solutions Industry), Saudi Airlines, Savola, Siemens, Pepsi Co., and Ma'aden to mention a few. Having spent most of my career in tertiary education preparing post grads in preparatory year programmes, I am now focusing on developing the necessary skills of graduates and employees across private and government sectors. I teach ESP courses to help enhance the level of working English for staff, focusing on practical usage of the language needed for the learners'​ specific roles and contexts. It's a great advantage to have worked across so many different sectors and met some very interesting people.

At English First I worked as an English instructor at the Saudi Japanese Institute for higher learning. We taught a general English course and English for specific purposes.

The work of the assessment centre includes the production and administration of examination papers for IBO schools internationally. I joined the organisation as a supervisor of a group of clerical checkers who processed, checked and filed examinations from 87 different schools in 43 different countries. I was also responsible for supporting the programme coordinators worldwide to ensure mark recalculations and supporting documents were sent to markers.

As a result of huge business growth I was seconded as a People Development Trainer for 12 months. I helped align training closer to the 'day to day'​ operations of business.In addition, I developed other packages such as our 'new entrant training' package which was a three week course touching on hard and soft skills. We focused on customer retention and winning back old customers. In this role, I developed my coaching and people management skills as this encompassed 80% of my job. As a result I was able to guide my team to outperform its targets and reach 2nd out of 56 teams.
