I consistently forgot that we had differing titles because he consistently challenged me and the solutions I concocted in a way that helped me grow as a developer. I so rarely saw a shred of trepidation; Ben took on any project that was given to them, and was not shy to volunteer. Ben is also one of those people who are so nice that you've never seen them not nice. Life has bad days in store for everyone, but Ben never let it affect the way he related to his coworkers; my time working with him continues to inspire me to this day.
