Hi there! I'm Benjamin, a 17-year-old student at Timpview High School with a deep interest in apparel design. My journey towards product design and development began three years ago when I enrolled in my school's Fashion Design and Textiles CTE Pathway. My classes tailored to my passion for fashion are my favorite, but I also embrace a challenging schedule with AP courses, one of my favorites being AP Seminar this year, refining my research skills for future professional endeavors.My diverse work experiences have shaped my adaptability and resilience. From serving customers at Karrie Anne's Desert to maintaining prestigious gardens with the BYU grounds crew, and even running my own yard service company since 7th grade, I've learned the value of meaningful interactions and dedication to excellence. Last summer, I launched my clothing brand, Funeral Potatoes, managing every aspect from design to marketing, and mastering screen printing through dedication and perseverance.Currently, I'm embarking on a new venture, expanding my skills in garment construction for my next brand. Beyond work, I founded a club where we analyze albums, participate in my school's track and cross-country teams, and participate in Hope Squad to support mental health awareness. As an active member of PTSA, I lead initiatives to welcome newcomers. In my day-to-day life, I cherish time with family and friends and can often be found in the outdoors hiking, or skiing etc., I'm constantly creating and am in the process of launching a podcast. I'm excited to bring my blend of skills and experiences to my internship in apparel design, where I aim to contribute and grow in the industry.
