I am responsible for a territory with a turnover of above £1million, pulling sales through from the wholesaler down through to the high street dental practices. I look after 600 accounts with 4,500 products, which enables me to grow the business by being able to provide a trust worthy solution to many dental situations. General Manager for successful motorsport brand, managing a team of people. Introducing new products to the market place and expanding the brand into new areas. Keen on high margin, high volume sales. Selling direct to the end user as well as shops, wholesalers and corporate accounts. Responsible for reducing costs and increasing sales.

I worked in the cardiovascular side of the company selling a range of grafts, taking my territory from number three in the company to the top sales territory in the UK. My target was £35,000 per month and by the time I left it was achieving over £50,000. My role involved the whole sales process and working with key opinion leaders to promote the brand. I spent a lot of time in surgery with the cardiac and vascular surgeons demonstrating the products and using the time as a good opportunity to improve our relationship and to promote our full product portfolio.

BrainLAB produces a market leading image guided surgery product for the surgeons to accurately locate their tools on the patient’s anatomy. My role included everything from sales and service through to training. I worked closely with all of the major neurosurgery centres around the London area to make sure that they were using the products to their full potential so that we were also able to sell our complete range of disposables to them. Keeping the customer fully trained would also mean that they would use the system for every case, making the system a necessity in the accuracy of tumour removal. I also helped push the systems in to other clinical areas such as CMF and dental.
