About Benjamin Rutledge
My name is Benjamin Rutledge, I was a Student-athlete at Southern Illinois University Carbondale. I recently graduated with my bachelor's in accounting; I was also apart of the men’s swim and dive team at Southern. I have been swimming for many years and it has been a big part of my life. Swimming taught me that hard work and dedication will allow me to face any challenges thrown my way. My previous work experience involves three internships - one at Town and Country Bank where I worked with governmental lending programs, and the other was at a CPA firm called Insight CPA's and Financial LLC, where I worked under one of the principals of the firm where I learned a lot of the basics of what it's like working in the accounting field, and finally EY where I was an Audit intern and learned much about the auditing field. My goal is to obtain my master's degree along with my CPA designation.
