Benjamin is a skilled geotechnical engineer with almost four years of experience working in open cut and underground copper operations. He has previous experience as a geologist, serving as an exploration geologist and underground production geologist, before transitioning to geotechincal engineer. He has strong technical competency in mining and geotechnical software (Deswik, Map3D). Benjamin is a highly motivated and driven professional with a proven record of successful delivery for clients and co-workers. Benjamin has provided 5 years of operational and technical support at the Mount Isa Mines Underground Copper Operation as both a geologist and geotechnical engineer. More recently he has completed secondments at Ernest Henry Underground and Mt. Rawdon Open Cut Evolution Mining sites. Benjamin hopes to broaden his horizons at Cartledge by being exposed to a wide variety of different projects and operations, allowing him to develop into a multi-skilled geotechnical engineer.Benjamin recently completed a Masters of Engineering Science (Geotechnical Engineering) at the University of New South Wales to gain the necessary qualifications to progress his career as a geotechnical engineer.
