- Screen employment applicants through our ABRA System database.- Conduct first interviews for “Production” positions and “Administrative” positions when assigned.- Conduct New Hire orientations for production new hires.- Insure that all KRONOS (Timekeeping System) information for new hires was entered.- Meet with employees as needed to discuss their attendance record and/or performance record.- Administer corrective action as needed to include up to suspension and in some cases, termination of employment. - Assist and advise Supervisors when disciplinary action was needed. - As needed, conduct investigations concerning, but not limited to theft, workplace violence, and harassment.- Conduct exit interviews for terminations of employment both voluntary (resignations) and involuntary (RIF’s and unsatisfactory performance terminations).- Assist Vice President of Human Resources with projects: Produce, review and present absence reports to management; Oversee the attendance reduction project; Assist with the review of policies and make recommendations for changes as needed; Be aware of any changes to FMLA, FLSA, ADA and other applicable acts so that amendments could be made to our policies.
