It was the time of year that is most exciting for people in my position. As a Fellow of OFA Wisconsin I was fully involved in the campaign, and its revolutionary ground game. I organized phone banks and canvassing for the Obama campaign, as well as calling and recruiting new volunteers. I assisted local Neighborhood Team Leaders with 'Watch Parties', as well as holding events for student political groups in Waukesha County. I worked at special events at OFA headquarters, and campaign rallies in the area. Highlights of this included visits from Secretary of Health and Human Services Kathleen Sebelius, and then-Congresswoman Tammy Baldwin, as well as numerous rallies for President Obama, Vice-President Biden, and former President Clinton. On and around Election Day I worked for OFA's Get Out The Vote effort. These days were exhausting, but also the most exciting of the whole campaign. I canvassed incessantly these four days, and drove people to the polls to vote if they needed help getting there. Thanks to the efforts of people like me, Milwaukee had a record high 87% voter turnout. Show less

The show exhibited a line of clothing made from eco-friendly material by designer Rene Geneva. I served as a photographer for the event as well as helping run the Embassy's "Twitter Corner."
