Elected SB President for 2015-2016 Term. I represented a link between administration, MNSCU, and students- I developed a proposal that partnered the Red Wing YMCA with the College that was successful and started Fall 2016.- Successfully worked to adjust fees to save students overall tuition cost while offering students more services. This saved the roughly 600 students $33,000 dollars in fees over the year.

In 2015 I lead a team in M.N. and D.C. to convince our lawmakers to expand student/veteran options for aid as well as to lower tuition. At the State level my team and I were able to convince lawmakers to lower tuition by 1% starting 2016 as well as continue to consider current grant expansion for under represented students. - In 2016 I was sent back to D.C. where we again made requests for the students nation wide. We experienced positive feedback and expect success as legislation changes are implemented.
