I worked for 30 years in customer service, property management, and retail markets. I made a lot of money for other people.Eventually I decided it was time to start my own business. That business failed, and it cost me a lot of money. I went back to the 9 to 5. I struggled to pay bills, and I lived pay check to paycheck. I was tired, I was broke, and I had nothing to show for all the time wasted working for someone else, except for a mountain of bills slowly filling my kitchen cabinets. All I owned was missing vacations, lost memories with my family, and relationships I'd never have time for.
