I was brought in to run an industrial 3D printer based on Binder Jetting technology to produce sand moulds for casting use in a foundry setting. As it was the company's first foray into additive manufacturing, my role expanded beyond the day to day operation of the machine. It came to include the development of supporting infrastructure, processes and documentation to manage scheduling, workflow, part cost estimation, quality assurance and maintenance.

I worked at Capikooa as a CAD designer to help develop new products in keeping with their philosophy of promoting childhood development by encouraging movement and open-ended play.
