graduate of Moravian College, B.S. in Neuroscience and B.A. Music Performance. Also a graduate from Lehigh University, M.S. in Molecular Biology. Main working experience is from a diagnostic laboratory setting for healthcare, but currently acquiring experience in a basic research environment. Undergraduate studies introduced me to skills in organic chemistry purification and analysis, stereotaxic surgery procedures, histologic tissue identification. I also have 6 months experience as a student researcher at Phoebe Ministries involving project management, volunteer coordination, and data collection and analysis for a pilot study on cognitive measures in dementia patients. Graduate school introduced me to investigating dopaminergic CNS synapses in an adult fruit fly model, assessed by IHC and fluorescent/confocal microscopy. I am open to new opportunities that can expand upon my research experience and incorporate new laboratory skills.
