I am a college student majoring in biology, currently transferring from SUNY Geneseo to Broome Community College. I am currently looking for a job for the remainder of the summer and the coming academic year. I would prefer part-time work to accommodate the class schedule I will have during the fall and spring. I have experience dealing with customers due to my previous job at Steve's Backyard BBQ, a restaurant in my hometown with an exclusively outdoor seating area. I prepped different meats for the smoker, made sauces and spice rubs, and cooked meats on the smoker. I had plenty of interactions with customers as the smoker was situated outside near the sitting area and the windows for ordering/picking up food.I am an avid lover of music, and have spent most of my education participating in extracurricular activities related to music. I have received awards for musical performances from NYSSMA, and have participated in All-County chorus and band, as well as Area All State chorus during middle and high school. During college I was part of an A Capella group, as well as a Pep Band. I also spend most of my day engrossed in music, listening to it as I drive or do things around the house.I am also a big fan of T.V. shows and movies. I spend most of my down-time watching T.V. shows, movies, anime, or documentaries. I have knowledge of many different "fandoms" and lore concerning series with a large fan-base.I am an animal lover, and am hard-pressed to find a pet that hasn't warmed up to me quickly. Most of my life I've had a cat or dog, and most of my friends have animals. I seem to have an affinity for domestic animals, and am lucky to have no allergies regarding them. Working with animals would be a truly wonderful way to spend my day.
