As an associate at Forresters, a leading firm of UK and European patent and trade mark attorneys, I help clients protect their intellectual property across various sectors, such as biotechnology, personal care and hygiene appliances, oil and gas technologies, and electrical grid control systems. I have experience in drafting, filing, and prosecuting patent applications, as well as conducting patent searches, analysis, freedom to operate opinions, oppositions, and appeals. I also tutor the FC1 UK Patent Law course for trainee patent attorneys, sharing my knowledge and passion for IP law. I hold a PhD and an MEng in Chemical Engineering from the University of Nottingham, where I conducted research on a new approach to pyrolysis using microwave heating and liquid media.
