• Provided corporate finance and valuation advice to wide range of clients.• Experience advising on transactions involving multi-billion pound private equity funds, large corporations, venture capital funds, management of portfolio companies and start-ups.• Financial modelling: performed and managed complex financial modelling (DCF, comparable company analysis, covenant sensitivity, exit scenario analysis, expected IRR, Monte Carlo, WACC, volatility, binomial tree and scenario analysis). Trained in advanced Excel, VBA and modelling best practice.• Acted as team coordinator for the Energy, Utilities, Mining and Infrastructure (EUMI) sector. • Energy sector experience: managed projects involving carbon capture and storage, oil and gas exploration, mining.• Business plans and projections: worked with portfolio companies’ CEO/CFO to develop business projections for financial analysis of investor strategy and risk/return objectives.• Extensive cross sector valuation experience: four years of providing valuation advice for commercial, financial reporting and tax purposes. • Tax efficiency: provided tax valuation advice working with the M&A Tax team to ensure clients achieved efficient tax deal structuring. • Innovative financial structures: valuation experience of complex corporate structures (including ordinary equity, preference shares, hurdle shares, carried interest, senior debt, mezzanine, warrants, options, brands and various rights attached to financial instruments).

• Completed the PwC graduate training program, which led to obtaining the CFA charter. • Developed a strong understanding of open and closed end funds with assets ranging from a few million to over £1billion.• Worked with funds holding listed and unlisted equity, bonds and derivatives. Tested fund performance against expectation and market performance.

• Following a successful 6 month dissertation project, I worked a further 12 months at GSK’s Centre of Excellence for Drug Discovery for neurosciences, Verona, Italy.• Performed PhD-style pre-clinical in-vitro research and successfully developed a new assay involving radioligand binding on live cells. This went on to be used to profile GSK’s drug candidates. • Worked in Italian speaking team.
