3 month physical therapy rotation at outpatient orthopedic and aquatic therapy setting. Maintained full student caseload working directly with spine team. Utilized IOMT, McKenzie method, therapeutic exercise, modalities, neuro-re-education, aquatic therapy to help individuals reach rehabilitation goals and return to normal function. 3 month physical therapy clinical rotation in Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit at Christus St. Vincent Hospital in Santa Fe, NM. Worked directly with patient's with several different diagnoses, including TBI, multi-trauma, stroke, oncology, orthopedic (THA, TKA, ORIF, etc.) Handled full caseload of patient's daily, completing evaluations, re-assessments, use of outcome measures, updating and executing of the plan of care. Coordinated directly with rehab doctors, nurses, occupational therapists, and speech language pathologists regarding patient's level of care. Worked with outside vendors and case managers regarding DME and discharge planning. Spent several days working in acute care hospital connected to the Inpatient Rehab Unit.

Worked in outpatient orthopaedic rehabilitation setting as physical therapy student. Saw patients of all ages, dealing with workman's compensation, Medicare, and private insurance companies.
