Was assigned to be a QA engineer for an IWSP period of 8 months. The main assignment was to create various test cases for IC chips and to test them under different ERC and DRC error rule checks for quality assurance. Perl scripting was given as a side assignment which was to create a script to provide data manipulation for IC specification sheets when provided. The usage of regex expressions was needed and array string variables were used for the script.

Internship period of 6 months. Was assigned to test various IC chips under different temperatures and environments to test their durability and consistency. All IC chip data readings are then organized within an excel sheet and sent to the senior engineers to help with their work. Any bad data is then taken out and placed within a different column to showcase the frequency of the bad data occurring during testing.
