Reinterpreting historical waterflood area from the ground up to increase production; Prudhoe Bay, Ivishak Light Oil Lead geologist in charge of a 4 person team tasked with revamping Ivishak WestEnd area through a ground up approach of reinterpreting all of the historical data and developing a strong prospect hopper in an area deemed “complete”. Applied reinterpretation effort into revision of a structural framework and fluid model from which a refocused economic drilling campaign consisting of 10 wells was brought forward, remaining of which are the most economic on current Prudhoe bay rig schedule.

Progressing undeveloped areas and new technology in the Orion and Polaris fields; Prudhoe Bay, Schrader Viscous OilCompleted structural model build of the Polaris field for utilization in dynamic models and reserves planning to make business decisions around field expansion Lead geologist developing the Orion field “Z-pad Expansion”, which consisted of significant mapping (contacts, rock properties), well planning, modeling, and complex completions discussions regarding sand control for MBE prevention (open hole gravel packs vs screens) to access ~50 mmstb reserves in green field opportunity. Developed, proposed, and received approval to progress new concept well. This well design taking advantage of non-operable multi lateral wells with proven value, and complex completions that are currently inoperable.
