Biomedical Science has always been of interest for me. The complexities of the human body in every aspect, whether it is the concept and study of hormones in the brain, or how bodily systems work and interact with each other. I have spent time volunteering in a variety of healthy clinics and found the work very intriguing. The experiences solidified that I want a career in health care. I feel as though it will provide me with a good balance of doing work that I find very interesting, and work that is fulfilling and feels as though I am bettering lives of other people. I work very well in a team setting and learned my collaboration skills when I worked at Tim Horton's for almost two years. I am also a good leader and have been praised by all of my school faculty growing up. I am currently a seasonal employee at Deer Creek Golf and Banquet and the summer of 2022 was my second year there. When I am not at school or work I like to play recreational sports like hockey, baseball, and volleyball. I also play the guitar and used to sail competitively. Watching sports is also one of my favourite pastimes, being a Toronto sports fan makes it pretty rough sometimes but there is always next season.
