The Greenhouse industry uses supplemental lighting during low light seasons to provide high quality produce to consumers. This supplemental lighting can create areas of excessive light pollution which can cause social and environmental issues. Our study group designs and analyzes ways to quantify and study the light coming from the greenhouses and examines light pollution mitigation techniques such as light abetment curtains.
